How to do your make up in heat & humidity.

How to do your make up in heat & humidity.

Now our thoughts are turning to a hot summer or, at least, a hot holiday away, I thought I would share with you what I pack in my very small make up bag.  Seeing as I tend to go to very hot & humid countries like India & Australia, I have learned through trial and error that less is definitely more when it comes to make up in the heat, especially if you have older skin!

It' s all in my video and I have done links to all the products I use below.

Thanks to Charlotte from A Beautiful Weirdo for the great photography, styling and video. Couldn't have done it without you!

My favourite products for travelling: L'Oreal BB Cream for a lovely, even skin tone, Hypo-allergenic eye liner by MAC, lip liner by Lancome, & I love a light lip gloss for the lips such as Marvelous Moxie by Bare Minerals.  I don't use mascara because I have never found one that doesn't run (help!) but I do use brow mascara by 1000HOUR, Nivea sunblock for the lips and surrounding area (factor 30), Touche Eclat for shadows, lines & highlighting by YSL. No Puffery gel, by Origins, for eye bags is amazing (a real essential in the heat), and Pot Rouge blusher, that can also double up as lippie, by Bobbi Brown.  There are so many other brands & products out there but the good news is that you'll find a lot of them under one roof at a large pharmacy, or department store, anywhere in the world.

Would love to know.......what make up can't you live without for holidaying in a hot climate? Do leave any questions or comments below and I will get straight back to you!
