I have always had this gorgeous retro, shabby chic cupboard in my spare room.  Now I have a new guest room, I have changed my 2nd bedroom into a dressing room.  The cupboard became just somewhere to hide things, like Christmas decorations! What a fantastic and worthwhile couple of days that was! I wasn't sure I would get much out of it as I am not a crafter & was probably the oldest woman there!  But quite the reverse. I met so many wonderful women, learned so much, ate great food and on Friday night, at West Elm, certainly drank more than enough wine........

Well, it was the coldest June week I can ever remember in the UK.  In fact, some weather expert said that one of the days last week was colder than Xmas day!  So we weren't taking any chances as the Three Friday Nights at Goodwood go on till 11.00 pm.  I had a new black & white dress, much thicker than normal, sorted out my black accessories, and took leggings, gloves & a light winter coat.
