I had a photo shoot last week to update my publicity pics. I really wanted to wear this old but still much loved dress from River Island, but didn't have an exciting head scarf to style it up - till Age of Reason Studios, very kindly sent me one to try out. Thrilled that it arrived in time for the shoot and even more thrilled with the quality and colours of this scarf. This is definitely going to Australia with me as it's big enough to double up as a sarong.

I've put the video showing you how I tie my headscarves below.

A message we should all live by - especially nowadays! Scarf by Age of Reason Studios.

Even better is the message on the scarf for anyone as passionate about positive ageing as I am! I think it will have to become another hashtag. There are 3 things I love about Age of Reason Studios: they're local to me in Brighton, they're ethical, no sweat shops involved, and they use older models on their site. If you're looking for a special gift for a loved one for Christmas, I can't think of a better buy. And I wouldn't say that if I didn't truly love their stuff.

For the shoot, I had my hair and make up done by Fine to Fabulous, in Hove, Brighton, and the photography was done, on my Olympus PEN,  by the wonderful Lynda Kelly.  You'll see more of her amazing work soon.  Meanwhile, hope you like the way I've worked the scarf around my beehive hair style and if you want any other headscarf ideas, pop over to my video tutorial.

Do you like using headscarves? As usual, I love your comments so please comment away.  And see you soon!
