Welcome to another look at what I've been finding on the High Street. It's not all about vintage, retro and pre-loved shopping. Sometimes the cheaper end of the high street chains, aimed very much at the younger shopper, come up trumps when it comes to finding something special.
This dress took me on my travels last winter. I needed something that would fold into nothing, not crease, and look quite dressy for Christmas in California. If it's chilly, I just wear a vest and leggings underneath and warm, comfortable boots to complete the, hopefully, funky look! Otherwise it's black flats or sandals.

The dress was bought at the end of last year in River Island, the boots were bought in the summer sales at Kurt Geiger, half price, an absolute bargain! The scarf is a cheapie I bought on the high street, but can't remember where! And the sunnies are my precious 50s original frames gifted to me. You can find leggings everywhere and I happen to think they are the best thing ever invented and a must for travelling!
